BIO Neem - a versatile powder from the leaves of Indian melia.

Neem or Indian Melia(Azadirachta Indica) is a plant or evergreen tree that has a history of use in India (where it originated) for over 2000 years. It is a versatile Ayurvedic plant as it can be used in cooking, cosmetics, as a dietary supplement, etc.

All parts of the plant - leaves, bark, root, seeds, fruits and flowers are used. For example, the dried leaves are used to make extracts and teas, while the seeds are used to make neem oil, which is mainly used for cosmetic purposes.

Use

Recommended Daily Dose: Mix ¼ teaspoon of powder with a cup of hot water. (½ teaspoon is enough for 2 cups of tea). Add honey and lemon juice to reduce bitterness.

Organic Neem powder can also be used as:

• Spray Mask:mix the powder with a little water to make a paste-like mixture and apply to the desired area of the skin. Leave on for 20 minutes until the paste begins to harden, then rinse well and pat skin dry.
• Hair Mask: mix powder with warm water to form a paste, apply to hair from scalp to ends, leave on for 30-45 minutes and rinse with warm water. Repeat the process every 2 weeks.
