Pine Bark Extract

Extract from the bark of maritime pine Pinus pinaster.

Sea pine (Pinus pinaster) is a tree of the pine family, widespread mainly on the coasts of Western European countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, France). It is a low-growing conifer with a broadly branched crown.

Pine bark is considered to be its characteristic feature, as it is light grey in younger trees, but changes to a characteristic reddish colour over the years.
