99.9% DMSO or Dimethyl sulfoxide is a solvent or by-product of the wood and paper industries respectively. It is formed from a substance found in wood. DMSO has been used as an industrial solvent since the mid-1990s, and scientists have been studying its effects on the human body since the mid-20th century.

Magnesium oil is highly concentrated magnesium chloride in liquid form. Magnesium oil is so called because of its oil-like structure. HeilTropfen's DMSO + magnesium oil contains up to 12% magnesium chloride
