Hawthorn(Crataegus) is a low, spreading tree with spiny branches, white flowers and red berries. It is native to northern Europe, but is now widespread throughout the world. Its beneficial effects were known as early as the 1st century.

Bioherba brand tincture is made from flowers and leaves of the hawthorn tree soaked in glycerin, which gives them a sweet taste. Glycerin is a colourless, odourless liquid, slightly thicker than water.

The daily dose of the tincture is equivalent to 750 mg of glycerine.

Use

Recommended Daily Dose: 25 drops (1 ml) in 100 ml of water, 3 times a day.
