Soap nuts powder - a versatile ayurvedic product for natural hair and skin care!

Soapnuts(Sapindus Mukorossi) are the fruit of a tree that grows in parts of northern India and Nepal, where they are known as Reetha. According to Indian or Ayurvedic tradition, they are mainly used for washing hair and skin and laundry washing. Whole soap nuts are also suitable for laundry - stored in a cloth bag.

These interesting nuts, when in contact with water, form a fine soap, which only gently foams - so it is also suitable for skin and hair care. They are also interesting because they maintain the natural pH balance of the skin.

They also work great when washing clothes - they form a fine soap lather that just gently lathers!!!

Use

Tips for use:

• Hair Shampoo: Mix 1-2 tablespoons of soap nut powder with lukewarm water, adjust the amount according to the length of your hair. Gently massage into hair in circular motions for about 2 minutes. Rinse with water.
• Shower gel or hand soap: Mix 2-3 tablespoons of soap nuts in 0.5 litres of water. Boil until the volume of the mixture is reduced by half.
