Rice - one of the most commonly consumed cereals worldwide!

Rice accounts for up to a fifth of all calories consumed by people worldwide. It belongs to the family of grasses which originated in Asia. It came to us from Spain, where it was brought by the Arabs in the 8th century. It was not until the 18th century that it began to be cultivated.

Basmati rice, an elongated and narrow type of rice with a special aroma and taste.

Basmati rice is sometimes called the "queen of all rice" and the "queen of fragrance", indicating its special aroma and subtle nutty flavor. It is narrow and elongated and remains strong and doesn't stick even after cooking. It isa good source of carbohydrates.

Use it to prepare risotto, various Asian dishes or in salads.

Brown rice is often included in the menus of athletes for its interesting properties. It can be prepared in many ways:

You can also grind the rice to make organic rice flour, which you can use in the preparation of cakes, muffins, pancakes and other delicious desserts.

Use

Recommended Use: Measure 2 cups of rice, place it in a pot of cold water and rinse well several times. Let the washed rice soak in cold water for 24 hours, then drain well. The longer it is soaked, the shorter the cooking time. Put about 2 cups of water and one teaspoon of salt in the pot. Bring to a boil, then add the strained rice and turn down the heat. Cover the pot and cook for 15 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir before serving.
